Girl group 9nine will make voice acting debut in “STAR DRIVER”
It’s been revealed that actress Kawashima Umika (17) and the other four members of the girl group 9nine will be voice acting in the anime, “STAR DRIVER Kagayaki no Takuto“!
This marks the first time that all five members will work together outside of their music activities, and 9nine also sings the “STAR DRIVER” theme song, “SHINING☆STAR“, which will be released on March 9th.
Kawashima is the only member with experience in voice acting, having dubbed for the role of Gylfie in the American animated film, “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole“, back in 2010. In “STAR DRIVER”, she will play the childhood friend of the main character.
Satake Uki (18), Nishiwaki Sayaka (18), Yoshii Kanae (17), and Murata Hirona (14) will portray the minor roles of high school students.
