Koda Kumi’s free live event rounds up 5,000 screaming fans
Following the release of her new album “Dejavu,” Koda Kumi held a free live event on March 3rd at the Yoyogi Band Shell. Her new album, which was released the day before, ranked 1st on the Oricon Daily Chart.
Thousands of fans waited in line the night before to get their hands on numbered tickets for the event, and a total of 5,000 fans gathered up to see Koda Kumi perform live for free. She sang songs such as “POP DIVA“, “Sukide sukide sukide,” and “Bambi” from her new album. She commented, “I want to continue to write songs that support everyone. Let’s see each other again during the live tour starting at the end of March!”
Koda Kumi’s new album “Dejavu” includes her hit song “Lollipop,” “Sukide sukide sukide”, and “POP DIVA.” The first day limited edition includes a DVD from her live at Yokohama Stadium, and her live tour “Koda Kumi Live Tour 2011 ~Dejavu~” begins on March 24th in Hokkaido.
