Shirota Yu holds back tears at first live
On February 28th, actor Shirota Yu (25) held his first live as a musician in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. In May, he is slated to debut as a singer under the stage name “U“.
At the live, he sang 3 songs, including the track “Sisyphus“ from his upcoming first single.
Regarding the performance, Shirota said, “I’ve been striving for music and relying on music since I was 13. My dream finally came true after 12 years, and the emotions nearly made me cry twice.”
The singer/actor also revealed big aspirations for the future stating, “I want to work as a singer abroad. At least, I don’t want to end in Japan, I want to change the world.”
