A DVD consisting of images of young girls calling out "onichan" -- a familiar form in Japanese to address one's older brother -- is selling well, its Tokyo-based producer said.

The "Onichan DVD" succeeds its CD version "Onichan CD," which sold over 30,000 copies. It features five teenage girls, only shown from their noses down, simply saying "onichan," but in 100 different ways.

The girls, who are younger sisters in real life, use different tones, reflecting 100 various emotions or situations, such as being slightly delighted, very angry, asking for a favor and being out of breath right after completing a 100-meter sprint.

The DVD, which targets men with desires to have younger sisters, "has seen a good start" since its release last November, an employee at NR Pro. said. The DVD is available for 1,980 yen.
