As you might or might not know, Hollywood is going to make their own version of the legendary Japanese story about the Chushingura, the Fourty-Seven Ronin, starring Keanu Reeves and of course, in 3D.

“47 Ronin” is going to be the full-length feature film debut of director Carl Rinsch. According to screencrave the movie is going to be a stylized version, mixing the true story of the 47 Ronin with fantasy elements ala “The Lord of the Rings” and gritty battle scenes ala “Gladiator”. Keanu probably likes the fact that he is finally going to have a lot of action scenes again. Chris Morgan, scriptwriter of “Wanted”, “Tokyo Drift” and the upcoming “Fast Five” will be responsible for squeezing in at least a bit of a story.

Now the Japanese tabloid “Shukan Jitsuwa” has reported that Japanese actress Yonekura Ryoko supposedly has received an offer to star alongside Keanu. Of course this would mark Yonekura’s Hollywood debut, but that’s actually not the main point of the tabloid’s article. According to the script, there is going to be quite a love scene, with both of them showing a lot of skin.

The tabloid included a short excerpt from the first version of script and it sure looks like it is going to become quite a challenge for Yonekura, if she was to accept the offer.
