w-inds new single, “Be As One”, will be an anime theme song
Dance and vocal unit w-inds have announced their first single of 2011.
“Be As One/Let’s get it on” will be released on January 26, 2011, and the title track will be the ending theme song to the anime, “FAIRY TAIL“. The song is a medium ballad and will be used from January to March 2011 for the anime. The b-side, “Let’s get it on”, will be an electro and house number.
There will be two limited editions and one regular type. Limited Edition A will include a DVD with the “Be As One” music video. Limited Edition B will include the DVD that contains the music video for “Let’s get it on”. The CD only version will include a drawing by Majima Hiro. The limited editions will include an application card to attend a premium event by w-inds.
This single will be the group’s 29th single, and next year will be their 10-year anniversary.
Their previous single, “Addicted to Love”, was released this summer and ranked #3 in Oricon’s weekly singles chart.
