Actress Ryoko Yonekura, 35, is the winner of the 6th annual “Fur of the Year” award. The woman they call the “Queen of Fur” appeared on stage at a recent ceremony, draped in a Lynx pelt worth 5 million yen. As she accepted the award, she told the media: “I’m pretty tall, 168 cm, so if I wear long fur, I tend to look like a monster.”

When asked why there had been a dearth of romantic rumors about her recently, Yonekura replied, “There are just so many things I want to try and dreams I have yet to fulfill.” She then added, “I do think it’s important to have someone you like in your life, though.”
