Sho Sakurai surprised by Higashiyama’s marriage
Arashi’s Sho Sakurai (28) has sent his Johnny’s senior his congratulations but admits he will not be walking down the same path any time soon, reports Sankei Sports today.
Sakurai had learnt about Noriyuki Higashiyama (44) and Yoshino Kimura’s (34) marriage while he was on location filming in Nagano for his upcoming movie “神様のカルテ (Kami-sama no Karute)”.
“I got a huge surprise when I read about the news on my mobile last night (October 23).
“(Higashiyama) is the senior talent I admire and have always wanted to be like.
“The two of them look like the coolest and perfect couple. I think they’ll be able to make loving and happy family together, congratulations,” he said.
The Arashi star laughed when asked about the possibility of more Johnny’s talents getting married after seeing their senior tie the knot.
“I haven’t given it any thought at all yet,” he said.
