Today was the premiere for Karina's (26) new movie "Love Come" and the main cast and director attended a stage greeting event at the Wald-9 theater in Shinjuku, Tokyo. It's story is a romantic comedy about a beautiful but very strong-minded woman (Karina) who reunites and ends up falling in love with a softy (Tanaka Kei) who she has not seen for 17 years.

Karina about her role, "She might have some traits of an old man, but she's still a woman. You can see her more feminine side in front of men or when she's crying her eyes out. I've tried to express that character gap to the best of my abilities."

The host of the event asked her, if she has some traits of an old man in real life as well. "She does have a few," Director Hirakawa immediately tossed in. Karina just laughed and said, "I don't think I have," but then she corrected herself again, "maybe I do, but I don't know?"

Tanaka also revealed that there are some unscripted parts throughout the movie, "We were able to ad-lib quite a few parts, but once I actually made a mistake by referring to myself with "Ore" instead of "Boku". My character usually says boku and I thought that I would have to repeat that scene again, but then the director suddenly gave his okay."

Director Hirakawa might be tolerant about ad-libbing, but actor Watabe Atsuro revealed some points you have to be careful about when working together with Hirakawa. "Two points you have to keep in mind when working with him. You should never be late and you should always remember his name," he said playfully.

Then they commented about what they've liked about the movie and what they've learned from the movie. Karina replied, "It's great when a man has two sides. In the movie we have this type of man people like to refer to as a softy (literally: herbivore) and most of the time you don't know what to do with him, but then he also has those moments where he just grabs your arms and pulls yourself towards him. I think any woman would love those kind of sudden moments."

Tanaka revealed some interesting information about Karina while answering the same question. "The woman in the movie is a very strong-willed woman and in my opinion Karina-chan is the same in some ways. I wanted to ask her how she behaves in front of the man she loves and she answered, 'that I can only show to the person I love'. Such an answer is typical of her." Karina was standing right next to him when he told this story and it seemed like she was a bit embarrassed.
