Classes have officially started; my junior year of high school has begun. My class list is really tough and I'm doing two extracurriculars that require lots of extra time.
My first class is American History for dual credit. The teacher just likes to talk about how often guys rape women, politics, stupid Republicans, sex, his wife wearing the pants in their relationship, his love of scantily-clad women, sex... It's hard to get anything remotely related to history done there. The progress I'm making (if any) is being made all on my own. If I don't get college credit for this class at the end of all of this I think I'll cry.
Next up is Pre-Calculus. I love my teacher for this; he makes me think of my favorite grandfather and never ceases to make me smile. The work isn't so bad either (yet). Plus I have this really cute foreign exchange student in my class from Kyrgyzstan who speaks Russian. :D
A Cappella Choir is next. I am a major sucker for anything a cappella, and this class makes me want to keysmash with the wonderful music we sing. Plus I'm a second soprano, which I still say is the greatest vocal assigning ever.
My teacher in English 11 AP is such a sweetheart. She makes me think of my grandmother whom I love and, despite her comma Nazi-ness, she is so lovable. Class isn't tough yet, but we haven't gotten to second semester; term paper, here I come.
Spanish III is alright, I guess. I don't like the style of teaching in there at all, other than speaking in Spanish the entire time. The "immersion" will be nice in the long run but... ugh. :/
Physics CP... Meh. The teacher and class and both unlikable, so...
Band, my favorite and least favorite class, is what I end my days with. I swear, the only thing keeping me in there is my love for my assistant band director and the jazz group I'm in.
Speaking of jazz group, I signed up for a jazz band also. They needed a bassist, so I just... did it. We practice twice a week and once every month on a Saturday. Grades, I beg you, don't suffer from this.  :(

(Also, first post with the new entry format LJ has. Me gusta.)
