i went to Kiev to pass exam, to which i was prepared like only 10% - exam costed tons of money but gives tons of money in return too - it was a risk but boss decided i should go - and.. i failed - on the 29th of January will be second try (free in money this time) and i am gonna do it. twice before on not so serious certifications i did it - so it was only time i left "1C-Ukraine" without getting it. it sucks.
but spent time really great after - with to my 'not so really friends but we like to spend time together' people - guy and girl) - i was in the little skating-rink in the most centre of Kiev on Independence Square. near Main Cristmas Tree of Ukraine. all was in snow and it was huge snow storm - was really difficult to go - but storm of snow are rare and really beautiful. in snow fog got lost a bit - i t was REALLY difficult to see - then found very big square - with monastery. and some monument in it - it was monument to saint Princess Olga - it was the place i wanted to look at for all of my life - i stayed there not moving until guy came and told we must not lost each other in snow. then in fog on another part of square it was big building - it appeared to be Ministry of foreign affairs with columns sick as in old castles and so so on and a lot of adventures after)))
in the afternoon before was in ABBYY Ukraine to get so me stuff for boss. the only problem was to get there - after metro you should go about 40 minutes in open air where old rails were. it is situated in big business centre - never was in a place so beautiful and rich like it - ABBYY itself was kinda too much of rich - like it is not real. it did not felt real at all. in the elevator - went there on purpose because of chinese girl and boy - liked to be there three hearing their language^^
in the evening went in cafe under Kiev center to eat Ukrainian cuisine - it was nice too.
air in Kiev is bad, like thick glass, even clear in snow and cold it does not give freshness - in the morning in Sumy air felt beautiful - even at the place full of cars, where i hate to breath usually^^
