Mod Announcement
Hello, everyone! XD I hope all of you are enjoying the first day of 2008! =)
And now to the important stuff. This announcement regards image hosting. During the last voting two icons hosted at Imageshack did not show up due to errors belonging to ImageShack. This has happened before in a previous voting post.
Rule number 4 in the rules states that you must host your icon somewhere other than LJ. The rule used to suggest Photobucket and Imageshack as places to host your icons but I have changed that. TinyPic is a much more reliable hosting service than ImageShack and it also has the same basic layout, from what I can tell.
We are not banning the use of ImageShack here but we would definitely prefer you use another hosting service. =) We want voting to run as smoothly as possible and it cannot when icons are not seen.
So if you are an ImageShack user go take a peek at TinyPic or PhotoBucket and see if you like either one of those places. I use Photobucket, as do many other people, and I enjoy it very much (so much so that I have around 3 accounts for different purposes. XD;).
