I don't want to ever redo this past weekend
Ok so I said this past weekend in my subject line.. but Monday was the worst of them all... :(
My husband put our little dog on the chain to go the bathroom and at that moment out bigger dog April decided she was going to get outside to.. Now normaly we leave her out and she stays right here at the house or goes around to the back and jumps into the pool.. well this all happened in like 2 minutes My daughter came home (to get her swim suit cause she has a friend over in the "milionare lane" who has an inground pool) Hubby lets little dog out, big dog gets out same time and big dog gets hit by a car.. while daughters coming towards the door. She saw all of it.. :( We did get intouch with a vet, the lady stopped, she was crying i was crying my daughter was hysterical (because this had been her dog at her dads house before she came to live with us) anyhow the vet said bring her in "she is probably in shock" April was coherant but wouldnt walk and only had a spot right between the eyes that had some blood on her. She is such a tuff dog and God has something in store for us and her who knows what but she is a beautiful dog..
Any how we were able to get her from the vet hospital this afternoon and they just all loved her. It cost a pretty penny because of the holiday but she is worth it.. Our female cat had a seizure on Monday morning. She is doing a lot better but there isn't anything that can be done :( the vet sugested these treat things that have tuna and camameal (sp?) in them, its for southing and calming them.. so she has had several of them and hasn't had another seizure so we are very lucky with that.. She has had 3 in her whole life.. the vet says that it could be one of two things.. either she is dehydrated (which was very possible because our other cat who has had kittens wont let her into the room to eat or drink and we have been putting extra water down here but she doesn't come downstairs all that much) or she had something nurologicaly wrong with her. The vet says its probably more the dehydration because if it was the other she would be having them more than once every other year..
Oh and we may not have internet after next week.. and I don't know what Im going to do for school.. I still have 4 weeks left in this term and as soon as I finish this term I will be considered a Sophmore.. :) yay..
