I'm afraid they do. They can't behave when they're drunk. I'm glad nothing serious happened yesterday, at least not where I live. *is relieved*

Really? I didn't think that was possible... well, I don't think any hardcore football fanatic is exactly a poster boy for his country ;-), but the scenes I watch at the main train station sometimes give me the creeps. 100 drunk fans... It's like sitting on a crate of explosives.

I would have loved to have come over for one of the England matches... I'm not big into football either (apart from my really awful local team, and that's purely because they're local!) but I do follow the World Cup. Although I was under the impression that the English fans were the worst-behaved of all, too... I think England just gets extra bad press because everybody hates us ;)

Aww, now that's not true, everybody hates the Germans, even the Germans. ;-)
In fact many of us are secretly in love with the Brits, to us they seem... endearingly crazy, and much more polite than our lot. ;-) Not the footie-fans though... ;-D
