Wanted to paint the town with three friends tonight, guess who canceled last minute?
Well, I went to the art show by myself. The colleagues had the whole library transformed into an art gallery. It was quite funny, on every second bookshelf was a cardboard sign with a crossed-out glass. Typical. You know you're in Germany when everything's verboten. Of course everyone put the empty glasses on the bookshelves anyway, right next to the signs.
Very pretty pictures of our beloved village, in their signature styles. Four very different personalites, working together as a team. They rented an abandoned warehouse in the red-light district and call themselves Schoenfarberei. I like that. They even sold some paintings! How I wish I could be part of such a group... but I have to paint something worthwhile first, I guess. And get over the anxiety to show my stuff to other people. Urgh! I'm such a wuss. At least the drinks were free. I was dressed up to the nines and stuck out like a sore thumb between jeans and jumpers. Too many mothers with little kids. I left early.
Now, what do I do with this wonderful night. I could reorganize my wardrobe (nah!) I could open the winebottle and get drunk and maudlin (shakeshakeshake), or I could take up creative writing as a hobby. (No, tried that before, it was fun buy my story SUCKED!) Hmmm... or browse youtube for more Dean & Jerry fun. (nodnodnodnod) Okay, that's settled.
These guys are a riot! Look at this:

And then I'll have to think about how to introduce myself to that lovely club500 comm... (nervous) Icons? A comic? Perhaps I should open that winebottle anyway, for inspiraton... (gets the corkscrew)
