Ok fine!
Uh...
So I haven't fully decided yet, but I may come slinking back to LJ-land from wordpress-ville. Creating a new format hasn't exactly inspired me to write a bunch of new posts. Plus, truth be told, I haven't written some posts that I otherwise would, because of the inability to finely tune the privacy settings. I want a journal/blog that I can both write out to the world and post things that only a few people can read. Sure on wordpress I can make priviate posts, but I don't want to write entirely priviate posts. I need to have an audience, some people that will read and comment, if only occasionally.
I've just missed the opportunity lately to write about what's going on in my life and I feel that the wordpress blog puts too much pressure. At least with LJ, the communities that I write and interact with persist. Even if not everyone writes anymore, I at least know that people check every once in a while.
