YTT: Breaking my LJ seal
I haven't updated in forever, and unless I do it soon then I'll be officially over the edge. There will be far too much to update and the task will grow too large
Yesterday: I went to the holiday free trade craft fair at the Monona Terrace and got a bunch of cute gifts for people. I really like to get these kind of eclectic gifts, especially if they are things that people might actually use or wear.
Then later that night I went to the Weary Traveler and played games until late in the night. I had a blast. I like just sitting around in a bar drinking good beer and playing cards with friends.
Today: Woke up at a reasonable time but then didn't get off my ass until like 2. I didn't even get started doing all the stuff I had to do until about 3:30. Regardless, got some work done (reading for class tomorrow and some of the hourly coding work I do). My term paper for Soc Psych is due in a week and I need to do a lot more work this week. Still, I made sure I put my priorities right and I had a date with Andy tonight. The latest Dexter is crazy! (Lost Boys, not actually the latest one that was shown on Dec. 6 on TV) I'm really liking this season. It has gotten a lot more creepy since they added Trinity.
Tomorrow: *sigh* Mondays are never good. My students have a paper due on Wednesday so I know that my office hours are going to be flooded. I think I may have to skip the Howard Winant talk, even though I'd really like to go, just because I'm not sure I'll have my weekly response paper written in time. Meh, there are always people that will come lecture. I can't waste all my time on every famous sociologist that comes through.
It's going to be a busy week. But then! Yay, no more teaching, my term paper will be finished and I can finally work on my masters...I mean relax...
