Gotta Be in the Club

Stuff like this really makes me lose faith in the country. I think I mentioned at one point before on here that the "Nonpartisan" Commission on Presidential Debates already has a limitation in place that prevents candidates that do not belong to the Republican or Democratic party to have 15% support in at least 5 selected polls. Basically, this is impossible. So what happens when all of the free-thinkers still want to run for office? They run as a Democrat or Republican so they can have a fair shot in the debates - Kinda like Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich who seem like the black sheep in their respective parties. Now that the two ruling parties see people with these "radical" ideas having a voice, they want to cut them out of the debates! So what will probably end up happening just because America is awesome?
My prediction: In future elections, candidates that want to take part of debates must poll at least some 15% or something stupid in at least 5 selected polls or something.

The same kind of two-party system causes stupid stuff like the upcoming impasse in congress over the Iraq thing but I'm not going to go into that right now. Let's just see what happens in the next few weeks and hope for the best.
