1. I'm reading a book called Heart-Shaped Box by a guy named Joe Hill. It's essentially a ghost story so far. I like it a lot so I decided to look up Joe Hill on wikipedia. Turns out, he's from Maine and when I saw his picture I thought "why is it that horror writers from Maine look so much alike," since he bears an uncanny resemblance to Stephen King. So then I saw that Joe Hill was a shortening of his given name and had an eureka moment. His given name is: Joe Hillstrom King. It all makes sense now.
2. I have an interview today and Wednesday at two temp agencies. Nothing incredible, but I'm going to knock them out of the park.
3. The new blog will be up and running later today. My hope is to update it every day, except for Friday which I'd like to dedicate to guest writers. I'm keeping this one for personal use, so...get excited. Or don't. Your call.
4. My birthday was pretty great. I include the evening of the 28th, too. Very nice weekend. Especially seeing Wall-E, which might be the best Pizar movie yet and is definitely my favorite. It's leaps and bounds more ambitious than anything they've done and it delivers on every level. Not to over sell it, but it's the best film I've seen to come out in 2008.
