Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?

I was watching Guiliani this morning (afternoon...it was nearly 2pm) while he was speaking to a group of Nashuans.  What strikes me about him is that his platform is based solely on him not being Hillary Clinton.  Maybe this is why he didn't even come close to breaking the top three in Iowa?  I don't know.  But he was being glib about how he wasn't like Clinton and the whole thing just reaks of some kind of latent sexism.

I'm not a Clinton fan, but not because she's a woman.  I just don't agree with all of her policies and I wouldn't be able to vote for her in the primary anyway because in Maryland, if you're a registered Republican, you have to vote in the Republican primary.  And I'm a registered Republican.  Guiliani, though, seems to disagree with Clinton because...well, because she's Clinton.  He's relatively respectful to the other Democrat candidates (as respectful as a classless douchebag can be), but he's always bitching about Hils for no good reason.  I don't get what makes people like him so much.  Maybe the recent Iowa results will be a continuing trend.

Guiliani was talking about health care and how he thinks the socialisation of it is bad.  His reasoning is that the government shouldn't control something as near and dear to us personally as our health.  He even found a problem with the government insuring people who were already insured privately...even though these people were kids.  so, he's saying that government health care is bad news bears because it insures kids who are already insured, even though it insures kids who are not.  Doesn't he come off like the Big Bad Wolf when he says things like this?  Where's the rationale behind not insuring a majority of uninsured kids because there are some that are already insured?  Also, why isn't he consistent with his "government should stay out of our business" plan?  Is he for or against abortion?  Same-sex marriage?  Education?

I can't wait for the Maryland primary.  Just can't wait.
