I'm a little bit tickled that the phrase used in this situation is "magical negro" as it is certainly used with minimal malice, but at the same time...Magical negro???

That is phenomenal. I'm sure some whimsical old man added the tag, not realizing that it's not entirely appropriate. Excellent find, though. It'll be my top anecdote this weekend.
