So, Sifl's got to go. We tried everything to integrate him with Juno. We separated them, reintegrated them slowly, used negative reinforcement, positive reinforcement, 2 types of mood altering meds. At this point he's so zonked out on mood meds that he doesn't even like people anymore, but as soon as Juno goes anywhere he bolts right after her to ( Read more... )

Dude, that's really harsh. I wish we could just all sit down with Sifl and tell him that he's being a complete dork, but things don't work out the way we want them.

It's a hard week all round, fuzzy animal wise, it seems.

Wow, I guess it is. I just found out my Romanian friend in Israel lost his 14-year old dog to cancer. This is just a bad week to own pets.

....Let me talk to my parents. I do not want Siflpoop going to a stranger.

I'll do what I can.

You have no idea how happy it'd make me if you could adopt Siflpoop. We have spare catgear from the time the two cats were separated (bowls, toys, litterbox), and he's probably got about 6 months of health insurance left, which should be transferable to a new owner.

Yeah, I share the sentiment. I tend to miss him when I'm out of town for a weekend. Him not being around at all is going to fuck with me quite a bit. It's beyond frustrating that he can't possibly get that he's the one doing it.

Poor stoopid cat. You know we would take him if we could...

If you get desperate my parents in New York would always take him, though I know that's far away.

I wish you could just make him behave himself and play nice, he's such a handsome little fucker.

So do I. Believe me, this is the lastest of last resorts, because I really love the little crapmonkey. Thanks for the offer, btw. I really hope it doesn't come to shipping him off, but It's good to know there are options.

Aw, geez, I know the feeling! I inherited a cat when the owner moved to California and progress has been extremely slow. At least now she only growls or hisses if two of the three other cats come within three feet of her, and two of those spend a good amount of time outside, leaving her with only one to deal with most of the time, and that one will be moving out soon.
