and as day fades to night...

And there will be days like this. maybe you said something wrong, maybe you made a mistake, but the manly sun, hot and powerful, sinking slowly out of sight to hide its secret affection for the moon will let the cool breeze blow away your troubles and watch as the sky blushes a deep red as the moon rises-slowly, carefully, gently; driving away the overpowering heat of day and letting everything settle to the rythme of song, dance, love: primative emotions far superior to anything the manipulating, stifling day could create. it is not the moon that surrenders the sky to the sun come morn. no, it is the true moon that drives away the sun at dusk, and returns to its slumber come morn, allowing the sun to take temporary dominance of the sky. and yes, there will be nights like this. where hope springs eternal, and the faint taunting whisper of better things to come frees your soul. soon the soft whisper becomes a stinging chill, driving one to the soft embrace of thick blankets. and there may I drift into dreams. dreams of the night. dreams of the moon. dreams of you.

hahaha, how did the english prompt "why literature?" become that? guess thats what i get for writing outside while the sun is setting. all this stuff to do was really getting me down, but i had a complete shift of thinking and now Im all happy and optimistic and even got a whole bunch of stuff done (YAY!)
oh man, i need to find that sheet, if i dont have those posters tomorrow jesse's gonna kill me...
