Jensen & Jared Interview

Demons, vengeful spirits, and pagan gods are all in a day’s - or night’s - work for Sam and Dean Winchester, but what about Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki? In the new issue of Supernatural Magazine, we speak to the show’s leading men about obsessed prisoners, silent girls in supermarkets, and how working on Supernatural has helped them deal with things that go bump in the night. Plus, we talk to their pint-sized former selves Ridge Canipe and Colin Ford, who play young Sam and Dean in A Very Supernatural Christmas.

Amber Benson: The Lady is a Vamp

Many Supernatural guest actors have caused a stir, but few have been as surprising as Amber Benson of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame, playing very much against type as vampire queen Lenore. In the new issue, we catch up with Amber to talk all things Supernatural: “I really like when I get to play an aggressive, dominant character. Also, there are no preconceptions when you’re working on something new. It’s very freeing to just be able to act without worrying about offending or hurting your audience.”

Keith R. A. DeCandido: Quoth The Raven

Supernatural Magazine takes you beyond the world of Sam and Dean that you see on TV, and interviews Supernatural novelist Keith R. A. DeCandido. In addition to comic books telling the early tales of John Winchester, there are three spin-off novels, two of which have been written by DeCandido. In this issue, the prolific tie-in author, whose previous work includes spin-offs from Buffy the Vampire Slayer,Farscape and Doctor Who, tells us about his contributions to the Supernatural universe, Nevermore and Bone Key.
