Good News!
I actually had this news yesterday, but I thought I would put it in my LJ. Yesterday I got a letter of acceptance from the University of Memphis for their graduate program in Musicology. I also called Goucher College and asked them what the status was on my application there, and the Director of the MAT program told me that she doesn't see any reason why I shouldn't be accepted into the program! So basically, I have been accepted into both schools that I applied to. Very exciting.
Next step - where am I going to go? It is more likely that I will attend Goucher because the program seems more beneficial and it is also closer to home. I still need to contact them in terms of possible scholorship... but overall I'm almost 99% positive that is going to be my decision.
Matty and I have started discussing what we're going to do when I graduate. There has been a lot of talk of living together in Towson - since he is ready to get out of central PA. However, if we were to do that, I think that we would have to get a 2 bedroom apartment - since we're not engaged - so that we still have some kind of independent space. That is just more comforting to me anyways. Engagement has been a discussion every so often... but I'll continue that when I get more details :-)
So yay! Life seems to be heading in the right direction. I just hope that I make the right choices... Any suggestions?
