Finding a therapist
I've recently come to the conclusion that my 14 year old would benefit from some counseling. My pediatrician agrees.
The problem, how do I find someone who isn't going to mess up my kid's head? Not too thrilled with the recommendations from the peds office, they all seem to be old men.
I've had some experience with whacko therapists, so I'm a bit, no I'm a LOT terrified about letting someone muck about in my child's psyche.
Any suggestions on how to screen these people?
