Why Oh Why....
Quickie post before going to bed.
I heard on the radio this afternoon about how Amtrack offered to help with the evacuation but the mayor of N.O. said nay-nay. They were warned 5 days BEFORE the hurricane hit to evacuate but once again, the mayor said nay-nay. I also had heard that there were several school buses still sitting in the school bus parking lot - under water - why weren't these used to help with the evacuation, especially of the poor people who supposedly had no way of getting out of there? Why hasn't the national news reported all of this? Never mind, I know the answer.
Why is it that the one Republican was blasted for using the tragedy in an attempt to raise money for his re-election funds and yet no one has said a word about what hillary has been doing? She has taken this opportunity - along with her croney extreme left wing democraps to exploit this into a political soapbox of bashing President Bush. Why has no one reported about how she has been giving speeches about the tragedy of the hurricane and then asking for donations TO HER CAMPAIGN FUND? Not for the victims, but for her campaign.
Why hasn't it been reported that 90% of the congress voted to include FEMA in the Homeland Security dept. and NOW they (democraps) are screaming bloody murder about it and attempting to use it as a mudslinging fest towards President Bush?
Have you heard how the congressman (democrat) from N.O. used the resources of the National Guard to go and check on his own house? Pulled a half dozen National Guardsmen from their rescue mission and the use of a 50 ton truck just to check on his own house. There were STILL people on rooftops being rescued but nope - he wanted to check on his house.
Yes, mistakes were made in not reacting quick enough - but at least President Bush and the military are getting the job done now... they are not wasting their time trying to make political gain from the hurricane tragedy.
Why do you wonder why I despise most democrap politicians? They sicken me.
