i want the talking heads cd!
i had the day off today but i still had to work. babysitting. oh gosh. those kids are freakin spoiled as hell but it's really hard to complain when i am getting paid twelve bucks an hour.
today was boring but lovely. after babysitting i ran around town a little bit all the while contemplating on whether to take a nap or not. i decided on the not and just go to bed early.
anyways, yesterday was quite exciting and crazy. i was so tired at the beginning of the day and it just got worse and worse. work was alright, i slept on the side walk between my shift and our staff meeting. i got the weirdest looks. i also bought combos. the pretzel and cheese kind. i had forgotten how awesome combos taste. i got free candy at our meeting!! i took a whole box of maltesers (imported malt balls). YUM!
after the meeting miss carrie bonnell met me out side my work. she has changed SO MUCH. i really can't believe she is the same person that i knew at rollins. complete 180. she said i looked skinnier and shorter. :( i don't want to look shorter. and i really don't want to be skinnier either. poo.
oh! weird thing. turns out carrie is doing the summer theatre program with this guy, q whom i went to the boston university theatre institute with. and he came into boston with her and as soon as i met carrie's friends i was like "Q?!?!" so we all hugged, caught up a little bit and then left. short and sweet. (apparently that's how i am becoming! so sad)
after the meet and greet sarah and heather picked me up and we walked to go get ethiopian food which was FABULOUS. you get to eat with your hands with really good bread type stuff. yummy. go try it.
on our walk home we found this adorable street that i want to live on someday. concord ave. so cute and quaint. love it.
i need new shoes.
got an email from liz today. she loves rome. i miss her craziness.
and the biggest news of all:
i will be home from august 11 to the 18!
i am so excited about coming home! i need to see so many people and get my eyebrows waxed. those are my plans. :)
