The Randomness of Life, the Universe, and Everything
Yes yes I know I just ripped off Hitchhikers for my subject line but I thought it was funny :)
Okay...so at the moment I am transferring as many of my files as I can from my laptop onto my parent's computer. The reason for this is that I'm taking my evil, malfunctioning computer in to(hopefully)get fixed. I really hope they can fix it.
So far the touchscreen won't work, the entire computer crashes whenever I try to run Movie Maker longer than a minute or run RealPlayer for more than 30 minutes, the wireless switch refuses to work so I can't get online with it, and its recently been crashing even when I'm not running either Movie Maker or RealPlayer. I am really getting ticked because I have a huge list of videos I want to make but can't because of the stupid computer.
Anyway...I had a lot of fun at Danae's on Monday. We watched SG-1: Children of the Gods(obviously averting our eyes at the nude scene), ate animal crackers, and worked on the Gimp, making icons...one of which I nicked today *points over at entry's profile pic*, and just having an awesome time. I now have three local friends who like Stargate and Doctor Who!!! :D
The day was great until I left. Then something totally nasty decided to happen. Girls, you'll know what I'm talking about. When I got home I grabbed my blanket and pillow, a huge bar of chocolate and curled up on the sofa and watched Series 1 to try and ignore the horrible cramps. Had to do the same thing yesterday but it wasn't quite so bad. I did get a huge lot of screenshots from Rose and The Idiot's Lantern so it wasn't all a wasted day :/
