Long time ago
I've been looking over my first ever LJ posts today and I just gotta say...man was I weird! I don't mean the obsessions with stuff, thats still the norm now but some of the things I wrote about? So weird. Oh, danaems , I actually mentioned you in those entries a couple times! Mostly in regard to The Lord of the Rings stuff we did together. Do you remember? Sleepovers to watch the Star Wars and LotR movies? Playing Return of the King on your GameCube and trying to escape from Shelob and the Ghost King? We really should do that again someday :)
It seems so long ago and it was really only four or so years. I re-read some of them and saw myself growing up. The first entries were just pointless rambling on stuff but as time went on and stuff happened things changed. Like when my grandma died. The whole tone of the journal turned darker after that. Maybe thats where things started going wrong? :(
I looked over the comments to my entries and saw some from people I haven't talked to in ages! Some of whom aren't even online any more and I miss talking to. Some of us used to have such "fights"! Throwing each other off of ships, fighting with cutlasses...just so much fun :)
I saw myself become obsessed with Star Trek, Stargate, and Doctor Who and stay obsessed with one movie in particular, which I still am actually *hugs Jimmy plushie*
It would really be nice to go back to those days and live them over even if I can't change anything.
