Well, here's the rundown of my trip.
So on the morning of the 15th we drove to Fargo, ND and caught a plane down to Minneapolis. The plane ride from Fargo to Minneapolis was kind of fun because I got a window seat and had fun spotting landmarks on the way(I saw Andes!). When we landed in Minneapolis was when it started to go downhill. We had a three hour layover until our next flight and my siblings decided to be incredibly annoying during that time. Then we got on another plane and had a four hour flight to San Jose. That was a nightmare. I was halfway across the plane from the rest of my family and stuck in the middle of two guys one of whom had some wine during the flight. I got so sore and also discovered that I'm slightly claustrophobic. The plane was completely full and just ugh.
Day 2 was a lot better. We went to the Tech Museum and an Egyptian museum. The Egyptian one was actually a lot more fun than the bigger Tech one. Although it had an IMAX theatre and they were showing Deathly Hallows...on the weekends only :'(
Day 3 we drove down to Monterey and went to the aquarium. Coolest place on the entire trip. My brother and I were totally geeking out when we went out on the balcony where they filmed Star Trek IV. We also found the aquarium where Spock went swimming XD
Day 4 we went back to the aquarium(because we couldn't get to all of it in one day). It was pretty nice because we got to ditch the younger siblings with our dad and just go around on our own. It was great! One annoying thing though was the IMAX theatre down the street from the aquarium. They had a poster advertising HTTYD in 3D. Sadly it was just leftover from last year :/
The rest of the trip was spent driving around the coast, visting state parks and other stuff. I don't remember a whole lot considering I didn't get much sleep thanks to sharing a bed with my little sister the octopus. The detailed stuff above was typed up while on the trip during one of the couple days I actually had internet. One nice thing though was being able to wake up nearly every morning and turn on Pokemon...no matter that the episodes were a season ahead of me :D
That's really all I've got to say...although it's so nice to be home in the cold again!
