"There you go, girl. How's that?"
The Gronkle looked up at and nuzzled against the teen's leg.
"I'll take that as an affirmative."
"I think that's how I meant it, yeah."
Fishlegs stared at his dragon. "What? Did you just..."
"Nah, I'm just messing with you. Hi, I'm Willow."
The teen turned to see a girl with red hair standing behind him, wearing a flowing white dress. "Uh...hi. I'm-"
"Fishlegs, I know. I know everything."
"Really?"
"Nah not really. I do know a lot though. For example, I know that you're a genius when it comes to dragon information."
"Well I...yeah I guess so."
"I think that's really cool."
"You do?" Fishlegs felt his face grow warm at the strange girl's praise.
"Yeah. So, um, do you think I could maybe take a ride on your dragon?"
"Sure. Just let me get her set up for you-"
"Actually I meant to ask if we could take a ride on her."
"We? As in..."
"You and I, yeah."
"Um...yeah why not." The Viking climbed onto his dragon's back and reached down to help Willow up. Once they were both sitting comfortably, he nudged Horrorcow's side and the dragon took off, causing the girl to cheer. They quickly left Berk behind, Willow smiling widely the entire way.
"This is so much fun!"
Fishlegs smiled. "Yeah it is."
"I just love flying, don't you?"
"It is a lot of fun! Reading is pretty good too."
"Oh I know! I just love to read!"
Fishlegs stared back at the girl. "You...like to read?"
"Of course! It's one of the best ways to relax after a hard day...not to mention it's a lot of fun."
"I think I love you," Fishlegs whispered under his breath.
"I think I love you too."
His face turned bright red. "Oh...I...um..."
Willow just grinned. "Don't worry, I definitely feel the same way."
"Oh, well in that case could I..."
"Well duh!"
Fishlegs leaned back and pressed a gentle kiss to Willow's lips.
"Mmm that was nice."
"Yeah."
They flew in silence for a while until Willow suggested that they head back to Berk.
"I have somewhere I need to be in a little while," she said as they landed.
"You're leaving?!"
"Just for a little while! I'll definitely be coming back."
"Good," Fishlegs said, giving her another kiss.
"I'll definitely be back," Willow said with a grin before heading into the darkness.
Fishlegs sighed and patted his dragon on the head. "Wow...she's amazing."
