Well, this'll definitely be a mixed posting. I think I'll just make two lists: good and bad. Then I have to get back to my speech. I think I'll do the "bad" section first.
Bad:
My second to last speech is next Monday and the research website I got all my information from refuses to let me access it so I can write the bloody thing.
My parents went to a homeschool conference last Thur-Sun and didn't take my evil sister with like they promised to. So most of the weekend was spent fighting with her to get her to do the work my mum told her to. She didn't take her psycho medicine either so she was completely horrible with all of us. She actually tried to beat up my littlest sister and I just barely got there in time.
My school advisor meeting was pretty much spent by her telling me to pick a major.
I'm failing Archaeology. Got a 56 on the last 3 tests.
Now the good:
I bought a new Legend of Zelda game that includes all but Windwaker for the GameCube and is amazingly fun
I've gotten to watch a bunch of Farscape and I've been rewatching Firefly.
I got to try Jaffa Cakes and I love them.
I got to spend all last Monday with my littlest sister and showed her The Beast Below and then we went to How to Train Your Dragon.
I found out I love How to Train Your Dragon.
I get to take
danaems to see How to Train Your Dragon on Friday to help her relax from school stuff.
Cloud and I are going to go see The Shakespeare Code at NDSU on Friday before HTTYD. It's being shown by the English department and I'm excited.
I declared my major after two years of college so I'm now officially an English major.
And last but not least, The NFA had a brilliant musical day on Saturday. We watched The Phantom of the Opera(film version), Les Miserables(concert version), Victory of the Daleks(I'll discuss in another post), and we made our own commentaries for the first two episodes from each season of Merlin.
All in all I think the pros outweigh the cons. Of course that doesn't get rid of any of my stress over this speech. Oh well, I'll just try my best and see what happens :)
