In class today...
Hmm now this was a weird thing to happen in class. I was sitting in my Wellness class and we were talking about different couple types. Two of these types immediately jumped out at me as related to DW/TW.
Ludus:
Carefree and casual love.
Focus is on play, fun and recreational aspects: playing the “game” of love, “no strings attached”.
Enjoy newness, not routine.
Ummm Captain Jack anyone? :P
Mania:
Obsessive and possessive love.
Strong sexual attraction and emotional intimacy with extreme jealousy.
Consumed with thoughts of partner.
Nine/Rose maybe? Apparently to a lot of fanfiction writers it is...especially the "strong sexual attraction" part ;D
Storge:
Solid and stable commitment.
Deepening mutual commitment, respect, friendship over time and common goals: partner is friend, enjoy each other’s company.
Ten/Rose? Hmm?
Agape:
Altruistic, self-sacrificing love.
Unselfish concern for the other’s needs: give and give, other’s happiness is all that is cared about, giving to other is all that is needed.
Nine/Rose for me. Most definitely :)
Well that's all I really wanted to say. Oh wait. When the professor asked us to give examples of each I said Jack for Ludus and I actually heard someone agreeing with me! Someone in my class knows about Torchwood!!! Now to try and find out who is was...
