AUGUST RUSH
i just finished watching the movie AUGUST RUSH.... and i have to say that i loved it.....
synopsis from wiki:
"A charismatic young Irish guitarist (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) and a sheltered young cellist (Keri Russell) have a chance encounter one magical night above New York's Washington Square, but are soon torn apart, leaving in their wake an infant, orphaned by circumstance.
Years later, performing on the streets of New York and cared for by a mysterious stranger (Robin Williams) who gives him the name August Rush, the child (Freddie Highmore) uses his remarkable musical talent in the hope of finding the the parents from whom he was separated at birth."
and its great.... i can't begin to describe the awesomeness of it... i love the youngn actor who played August Rush, he played a prodigy searching and trying to connect to his parents well... the music is this mix of classical and rock. and did i mention JRH as a musician....
its a story of how everything is connected through sound... and in this case music since it's all around us...
