4 miles done
so today was the breast cancer walk here in san diego... not the 3 day just the 4 mile one. so i walked it and i was kinda nervous since i have been soooooooooo sick this week that i wasn't sure i was going to walk until last night when i was like i rested enough i think i can do this. so i woke up early this morning really nervous about the walk and i got there at around 7ish.... and only deren from french club was there.
so yeah everyone was there by about 8 and we were revving up to walk and my friend claudia and i were catching up since i haven't been in class most of the week... anyways.... so i forgot to charge the batteries of my camera.... so yeah BOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! but deren and jhonni have cameras and took pictures of us walking... yeah as soon as i can get a copy i will post here... so i have this pink bracelet that looks like the ones they give you to go to a club to determine your age and stuff.... it meant that i have registered and was walking so the walk was through balboa park then to 163 north bound in the freeway then through hillcrest then back to the park and the finish line...
it was a great walk full of people about 20 thousand from what i heard and they brought their dogs to the walk... OMG!!! there was this english bulldog and she was soooooooooooooooo cute....... i wanted to take her home... so yeah i walked with claudia all 4 miles and when we were 1/2 mile to go i was like i need food *i didn't eat breakfast* so after the walk shane took me to horton plaza to do some light shopping and for food...
so yes i finished and i have the pink bead necklace to show for it....
