Picture this: A Kid in a Candy Store... Know what I'm saying?

I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night... lemme tell ya... someone took 50 hits of acid and made it.
Between the the Oompa Loompa's doing improvisational rock music and Johnny Depp's Micheal Jacksonish character the movie was exhilerating and a seizure waiting to happen. Bright colors everywhere and dry humor that went over the small children's heads and making the parents blush. It was a fascinating movie between love and loss, moving up in life, and learning the importance of family ties. The movie which is mainly based on the book and not the Gene Wilder movie confused the audience that never bothered to pick up the book. Which another piece of information that no one really knows about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is the fact that the first edition of the book was banned due to racism. Instead of Oompa Loompa's in the book Rahl Dahl had black's as Willy Wonka's slaves. Do I recommend this movie? Most definetly. It's an endearing tale of a lovable boy and a magical world. So gather up some friends, do some heavy drugs and prepare to have the 'trip' of a lifetime at the movies. Okay, you don't have to take drugs, I enjoyed it quite well without them.

Well that's pretty much all I've done in the past few days. Not counting the countless hours of slave labor at work. Every moment I spend in that hell hole I keep thinking to myself "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH". Then I think about putting a plastic bag over my head.

peace out children
