I found some must-haves on Etsy. I just received my order of two different scents of skin creams from longwinterfarm, and they are spectacular. Don't get me wrong, I believe for serious moisturizing, you need the butters from Mad Hatter Soap Co., but if you want something a little lighter, non-greasy, for everyday moderate use, longwinterfarm's creams are for you. The seller describes it this way: "This fabled perfect cream base has lots of love for the skin without leaving you feeling like you just ate a bucket of chicken during a national napkin shortage." Heee! And it is accurate -- I admit that Mad Hatter's butter is a bit greasy (but I like it -- it's great for my hand massage I'm doing regularly right now), but the longwinterfarm cream is a perfect midway point between regular lotion and body butter.
And the FRAGRANCES. OMG. I got Peony and Delphinium, and I'm seriously in love. Both are light single florals, and the fragrances aren't in any way overwhelming. Just clear, light, delicious.
Oh oh OH they are yummy.
And speaking of yummy.... I also got -- *guilty look* -- a half pound of the peanut butter fudge from Oh Fudge Store. It is to diiiiiiiiiiiiie for. I'm not a big chocolate fan -- don't faint -- but peanut butter and I go wayyyyy back, and this is the serious-ass hardcore peanut-butter fudge: creamy, intense, delicious.
