Trying out Woodchuck Cider and it's delish! Been a long time since I drank any hard cider, and now I remember how much I liked it.

But they have Granny Smith hard cider and PEAR hard cider, too. Damn. I'd LOVE to try them.

Mmmm. Sounds good. It's been a long time since I had hard cider, too. I actually saw some the other day and it was really tempting to get some. I bet the Granny Smith one is wonderful.

As a bit of eclectic knowledge - a fermented pear beverage is called 'perry'.

Perry! I'll remember that. Man, this shit is smooth and delicious. I...could drink a lot of this. And regret it mightily tomorrow, I think -- it's kicking in already. *g*

I'm dying to try it. Hoping maybe someplace in town stocks it. Only the amber where I got this.

Oh yes, I love hard cider! Woodchuck has/had a special fall cider out this year, and I found it at this one convenience store here that randomly has more cider than anywhere else in the city. It had interesting, tasty spice notes.

OMG, I love Woodchuck!

The Pear is a ninja beer. It has a very subtle taste- almost not there at all- but the higher alcohol content will hit you hard. I used to get the pear on tap at a bar in Ann Arbor and boy, you think you've only had so much but you've had THIS MUCH MORE than you thought.

The Granny Smith is tart and I can only drink so much before it starts to make my tongue feel weird, but that's true about all fruity beers or wine cooler type drinks- Mike's Hard Lemonade, etc.

I've only found Woodchuck ONCE at a regular grocery store here in LA. I'm sure that the BevMo has it but that's a trek that I only make when I have no other choice. Heh.

Welcome to the Woodchuck fanclub!!!
