"No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency" is lovely! And so is Idris Elba, good grief. (Why did I never watch "The Wire?" I've heard such great things about it, and never saw a minute of it.)
I had it recorded last night and I watched even though I was exhausted because it was so lovely. Lovely is a perfect word for it. I love Jill Scott. And now I regret never watching The WIRE

idris elba is fine, fine, FINE. whew. *fans self* "the wire" is truly an amazing show-- it is gritty, raw, and in your face. i do hope you give yourself time to watch it, all five seasons. mr. elba, of course, was fantastic.
