District 9 and other stuffs.
Just last night I went out with some friends to watch a rather interesting movie, of course with everything there was more than I bargained for. The day started with a bit of drama, but I am deeply grateful to the good natures of my friends. A little scritching and a back-rub later everything was back to happy. As long as you have good friends, all we really need it to just remind each other that we care.
Well, all that aside the Movie was rather interesting. I won't give any spoilers, but the feel of it was a Sci fi movie that passed didn't admit any diversion of reality. Essentially it's a commentary of African segregation put into the form of Humanity doing it's best to isolate Aliens into a getto, and to take as much advantage of them as they could. I think the message given could fit anywhere in our history, from the abuse of Native Americans to the Experiments of Nazi Doctors.. oh yeah and there was a lot of cool explosions. So much head explodie that Galliger would be proud.
