Blaaaarrrggggg
I haven't been here in a good little while, and there is a very good reason. My computer was attacked *again* it seems I have/had a nasty little virus that could hide *even* after a full format of my hard drive. In time I'm just going to get a Mac, it's good for only a handfull of things, but they are a great deal safer than PC's.
My work is also pretty wild right now. About two weeks ago I was taking a break behind a wall that seperates us from the public, just a little nap.. big mistake. I've lost at least one post, and I suspect yet another. Right now I am stuck doing Bike and foot patrolls. My wallet isn't too effected... but my pride is pretty much chewed up and spit out.
The Good news is that this little set of circumstances have inspired me to move on, I've worked security for six years now...... six years of my life. I'm taking the first few steps right now. On Sept. 1st I'm going to the Santa Monica DMV to once again get a drivers permit. After I get the permit I am going to spend about 100 dollars for some professional behind-the-wheel training. Hopefully before the end of the year I should be driving. After I manage to do that I am going to be looking around for a new job, I really don't care what it is as long as it pays the same/more than this one.
After I manage to get out of this rut I am going back to school, I figure Computer Repair is one of the more practical fields I can get into and still make a decent living. It's all going to be hard, but right now the hardest is just keeping myself together.
Everyone who reads my LJ, guys, I need your love more than ever. I'll take some online encouragement, but one-on-one is better.
I'm still deeply grateful for Lutrian and Kagi (Im sorry hon, I still don't know how to write your name) for the week before. I've never had a weekend that I've felt more rested. I hope it doesn't sound greedy, but I hope for more in the future.
