FUNdraising
Tonight I went FUNdraising with Sarah Doo. She's going to New Orlenes over Christmas for alternative break. They did ice skating tonight from 11-1am for $5. I was all about it. I haven't been on the ice in a long time, but after a few laps I felt pretty comfortable in those hockey skates. There were a lot of people there that I knew at one time or another and that was cool. All those college extracuricular thingies paid off pretty well :c)
At one point tonight Sarah was telling me about how her boyfriend who "pulled a Janis" the other day and ran out of gas on his way home from work. The funny thing is that this isn't the first time I have heard someone coin the phrase "pulled a Janis" and the other time wasn't for anything smart either. I guess I know what I have made for myself at college and the lagacy that I will leave behind. No one really remembers the good things people do, it's not like I will ever hear someone say "Yeah I pulled a Janis and studied my butt off last night at the library." But hey atleast I'll be remembered.
