Proofread.. I am so lazy doing that! LOL but good on ya :) About Jun being believable.. well I still see him as Jun, I've mentioned it in my previous comment.. But it is kinda a hard question to answer, because reading fanfics, every Jun (or any other arashi members) are so different depending on writers, is it? Well at least I see it that way.. Because we see him from different point of view of the authors and the authors will inject or outject (I am sure this is not a word) the things we love the most or not really like, etc. Like my Jun is so not DOS at all whilst you can find a DOS jun in other fanfics.. Your Jun has a more DOS quality to him, but he also has that gentle/mysterious side of him.. I still see your Jun as Jun though.. but I think authors can deviate as well.. :) I mean that's what writers do, right? Besides sometimes what's real might not be interesting (I quote this from Stanley Kubrick who was quoted by Jack Nicholson, kinda complicated LOL) So I always like a lil deviations here and there.. Like there's this fanfic i am currently reading on aibakaland.. the Jun is so different with how I imagined him in reality, but because the writer does it in an interesting way, i am now really into her version of Jun as well (very different from my or your version of Jun).. Am I making any sense here? LOL
Okay I should stop. I am a bad commenter I know :D
I was just worried that nobody else but you reads it because I am deviating from the general concept of who Jun is.
But really, I agree with what you said that there are going to be a million other versions of Jun per person, ne? And we might never know who the real Jun is. (Except if he marries me! XD!)
About readers, you don't need to worry as long as you're happy with what you write..
To be honest maybe the concept is a bit unfamiliar to some.. Het fics are unpopular nowadays to begin with, let alone AU Het fics (in my opinion) well at least in this LJ fandom.
The real jun, huh? I always wonder about that... *dreamy sigh* I have some theories tho LOL
Are you in arashirabu or Je_het_fics (I can't remember the exact comm name)? *just curious*
Some of the non-het-fics writers are really good writers IMO if you are interested. and they are loaded with readers. AUs are popular over there as well, I have a friend who only reads AU. But I am not into pairings more than just friends, so I just read it occasionally if the writer is good..
A bit too much reality, but maybe not dreamy enuff.. like the dream concept of being with the real superstar jun is one of the key of OCs right? So the fans are putting themselves in the OCs positions? But that's my opinion, i could be wrong.. And usually arashi fans, even tho they have ichibans, they like having them together.. But I might be wrong. I hope you don't mind me saying these stuffs XD
I think.. I tend to write things and characters the way I see it. I mean of course the Jun that I perceive.. Even my OCs, I based them on real people that I know.. But that's me..
That's why I hesitate to write more about other arashi members because I don't know them as well. Except for Nino because I have this strong belief that he resembles my husband a lot in personality XD LOL
I am actually not aware of any other of the je het fics. And still kinda cautious about exposing my writing to more ppl.
I think I agree with you being the conditions of being too realistic and lil bit away from what the actual Jun is which is a superstar/idol. Most of the fans do tend to put themselves in the OC's position in a story.
I wonder if you would like to read my original story for that challenge?
For me its purely my muse. Before, I won't even write canons and just pure original stories. I think writing after prefabricated characters from somebody's imagination always made me think is what if you portray their characters wrong? There's that risk. If its all original then you only have you to blame.
Although I am a newbie fan, I think I have my own perceptions of each member and just write from there.
But again, we write because we are compelled to write and if another person.(even if its just you, Mols) would be able to relate, that already makes me happy.
You mean you never read the yaoi ones? You should.. LOL some of them are really really good writers! And I love the crack ones as well..
I agree a lot on what you said about making other people relate.. I think it is one of the glories of making something in this life :) And it is not just me, of course, some people are lazy to comments :D (including me before starting to write my own and realize how comments make authors happy :D)
Oh and if you want me to read my original story, of course I would want to read it! :)
I'm a newbie too, btw :) Only been a fan for a year and on/off was my first fic
Yeah. I do hope that there are the silent readers who are too lazy to comment and enjoy it as well. but yeah, being able to know that you've reached someone makes an author real happy. (Just imagine the pros who besides reaching ppl, make money out of it! XD)
I haven't read any of the Yaoi. I'm afraid it would change how I view the boys. But the crack ones are real hilarious!
ON/Off is real good for a first fic. Only been an Arashi fan for a few months. What's your email so I can send the story to you?

is it easier to write the Jun that we know, the superstar Jun? Or putting an unknown Jun in our world?
