I found the Poppy Parmesan Cracker recipe on a food blog called White on Rice or something like that. The bread/pizza dough all comes from my Bread Machine cookbook or allrecipes.com.
Chicken Pineapple Oriental:
1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken about a cup pineapple preserves a handful green onions, sliced diagonal 1/2 inch about 1/4 cup soy sauce a bit of sesame oil and rice vinegar one bag sugar snap peas put in crockpot, cook low 4-6 hours, add peas last half hour to hour.
Spaghetti Sauce: one can stewed tomatoes one can crushed tomatoes 1-2 diced yellow onions 2-3 TB sugar 5-10 cloves garlic, pressed/minced/chopped/howeveryoulikeit oregano and basil to taste you can also add chopped green bell pepper, ground beef/whateveryoulikeinyourgravy
sautee onion/garlic/otherveggiesyouadd in olive oil, add tomatoes, simmer. add sugar and seasonings to taste. simmer while noodles are cooking.
Manicotti, use above sauce. Stuff manicotti with mixture of ricotta (or cottage cheese), parmesan, mozzerella and seasonings (basil/oregano/parsley). Bake covered in sauce about a half hour (use parboiled noodles), put sauce in bottom of casserole, top stuffed noodles with sauce. After half hour, topp with mozzerlla and fresh basil, bake an additional 15 minutes (or broil about 5-10).
Goat Cheese/Zuccini Pizza:
Roll out/toss pizza dough. Brush with olive oil and poke bottom with fork. Bake about 10 minutes at 425. Take out, top with spread goat cheese (herbed is best) and thin sliced zucchini (you can also alternate with yellow squash). Salt, pepper, fresh parsley. Bake addition 10-15 minutes to desired doneness at 425.
Potato Chips, thin slice, roast in oven at 400-450 until dried out. I brush with vegetable oil and salt before baking.
oh, and I throw in some fresh roma tomatoes in too, for more texture. if you don't want to add sugar, you can use a peeled carrot, just let it simmer at least a half hour/45 minutes before serving.
