life is weird.
that boy that i complained so constantly about in my last entries asked me to homecoming. i said yes.
i was sleeping and it was around 11AM. suddenly, i heard loud laughter and talking and bangs of things hitting my bedroom window. at first, i thought it was the girl across the street and her friends, because she's the kind of girl that has parties at her house late at night, with cars zooming by, girls cussing out boys in the street, and all that junk. finally, when i couldn't take it anymore, i peeped outside in between two blinds. i was half blind because i was not wearing my contacts or my glasses but all i saw was black hair and i knew it had to be my friends causing all this racket. i heard someone say, "she's looking at us!" and when i lowered the two blinds that i was looking in between, they shouted "she's coming!" i padded over to my bathroom and put on some more decent shorts and my contacts. my hands were shaking. and then i went outside [my mom was also there, with a camera, ready to document. i already knew what was going to happen and who was going to ask me. no surprises there.]. once i stepped outside, my friends were in a line holding foam board signs in their hands. at the count of 3, they raised them above their heads and it spelled out "homecoming?" from behind them ran out the boy with a dozen roses in hand, and then he got on one knee to ask me to homecoming.
also, apparently, they were throwing chocolate hershey kisses at my window. what a waste.
who would imagine that after complaining about how much of an insensitive jerk he was for months would end up in this? actually, in recent weeks, it has become more obvious. but i guess i haven't kept you guys updated. i've been largely absent from livejournal.
actually, he's still an insensitive jerk.
me:
http://www.givesmehope.com/ this stuff makes me cry
him: hahahahaha= +! it isnt funny..
me: it's so touching.
him: i dont like touching stuff
me: i'm not surprised.
him: hahahahah
also, is it weird that i no longer find things like this extremely cute? i know they should be, but i'm not really impressed anymore. i'm immune. it's too common in plano where everyone always does things like these to ask people to homecoming or prom. .... hm.
anyways. that is all for now.
