So my family woke up this morning at 4 am, all packed up,and went over to my aunt's to get her, my cousin who just had a baby last week, my uncle, the baby, and my grandpa but they realized they could not leave because it is taking 11 hours to go 50 miles. The plan was to go stay with my mother's family in San Antonio, which is 200 milles away. Cars are blocking the roads because they are running out of gas because they have not been able to go anywhere, so they are just sitting on I-10. My mom is mad that they did not leave a few days ago (like I suggested) but they have decided to all weather the storm together at my aunt's. Then after it has blown over and if they lose power they will go to San Antonio. I love hurricanes. Austin will get thunderstorms but most likely nothing too traumatic. It will probably be a weekend of movies and Mac & Cheese!
