I'm so psyched. On the advice of my mom and a sophomore at George Mason, I ditched the classes I don't care about (namely, math and science). I already have 4 years of math (in other words I did my time) and I decided that three years of science is plenty. I finally have room for an art class. I might suck, but it's basic, so I'm not claiming to actually have talent. I also have chorale with Eli and Livia. Livia and I are in the process of learning the Theme from New York, New York. "Start spreadin' the news... " We hit up the state fair yesterday and walked through the cow barn and hung out with friends in the 4h building. Then after an hour we went to the mall and got our "first day of school outfits", the idea of which is as foreign as anything because Livia's Colegio Rio Branco has a uniform. Final bit of good news: The "essay" that I was dreading for the GMU application is only 150 words. I could probably write it in Spanish for goodness sake.
