so, josh and i are both hooked on ambien. both our docs suck at their jobs. they gave us both the same type of ambien. the short-term kind that is to be taken for 1-2 weeks. ambien cr is what we should be taking for a more long-term use. we're now addicted. of course it's been months of use and we finally thought it might be interesting to look up some info about it. that's when we found out we've been on the wrong one all this time. it explains a lot of stuff. lack of dreams (which is weird for me), fatigue throughout the following day, some amnesia and hallucinations, eating after taking it cuz it gives you the munchies. and that's just some of it. so, now we have to ween ourselves off for like 6 weeks or suffer severe withdrawals that include insomnia and seizures. awesome.
i also need to get a new doctor. one who actually listens to me and asks questions. i have the # of my friend's doc. i really hope he's as great as she says he is. he may be able to get me some samples of the type of drugs i actually need, but that i can't afford. i'm taking a SSRI (Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor). i should be taking either a NDRI (Norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor) or a SNDRI (Serotonin-norepinephrine-dopamine reuptake inhibitor).
the class of antidepressant that i'm taking makes some people lethargic when it's only supposed to help mellow you out. but i can't handle this lethargy, so i need to start taking one of the other classes that help me be more productive throughout the day. unfortunately i can't afford those. that's where the free samples come in i suppose.
school is over! now i just hafta shell out 125$ to take my cert. exam. i need to finalize my resume and get it sent out too.
