AS SOON AS I'M DONE WITH THIS STUPID CHAPTER OF THIS STUPID THESIS THAT'S EATING TOO MUCH OF MY TIME I'M GONNA POST ABOUT IT PROPERLY but oh god I loved all of them! My Jesse-feelings were pretty much the size of the everest and it felt like they fell all on me at the second-to-last one tbh but the finale actually was sorta reliving? Like, AT LEAST HE GOT OUT? He's gonna need all the therapy in the world but I'm just really glad that he got out ;_; AND THE TORTURING MY POOR BABY! Also I loved everything about how it ended, soundtrack not excluded ;) and I kind of went out sort of being okay with Walt - or at least, I still think that at the end his actions were 99% unexcusable but seeing him actually getting that he did it for himself and trying to put things as right as he could definitely made him gain points :) and yeah, I kind of felt sorry that Jesse and Skyler didn't interact more and tbh I think they're in a position where they would at least understand each other, but I don't think I'm anywhere near good enough to write that fic so hopefully someone might pick it up. (Same for the Mike prompt..)

I KNOW. HONESTLY between him and Dukie I don't know which one makes me sadder, but since someone wrote a fix-it fic for Dukie last year I think poor Randy deserves his own :(((( I'LL NEVER BE OVER HOW IT ENDED. Geez, Michael had it better and that's saying all...

Speaking of which...I'll surely go to hell for doing this but I'm writing a Todd POV fic filling in the missing time between 'Granite State' and 'Felina'. Yeah, I'm actually in the middle of writing this. It's a mix of Todd & Lydia and Todd & Jesse scenes during those missing months. It's pretty fucked up. I'm scared because writing Todd seems to come very naturally to me *shudders* The fic doesn't contain any actual physical torture (as in beating scenes) but if you can cope with more emotional Jesse torment then look out for my link in a few days time. Can't wait for your detailed BB thoughts!!

My two favourite moments of the finale were Walt admitting "I did it for me" to Skyler and then his "I want this" to Jesse. I think even Walt's attempts to reconcile were driven by his selfishness. I wasn't keen on Walt using Gretchen & Elliot to trick Flynn into taking his money when Flynn had made a point of refusing it. Even saving Jesse wasn't something Walt planned to do all along. He went to the Nazi compound to get revenge and freeing Jesse was a byproduct. And since Walt put Jesse in that hellish captivity in the first place rescuing him qualifies as "the least you could FUCKING do!!" more so than something that scores Walt points.
